William "Tom" Galloway

William Thomas "Tom" Galloway, 74, of Redfield passed away Saturday, November 26, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 24, 1943, in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late William Galloway and Julia Rowland Galloway. Tom was reared and received his education in Rochester, Pennsylvania, graduating from Rochester High School in 1962. He went on to serve his country in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1966, as an aircraft mechanic upon the U.S.S. Independence off the coast of North Korea. Tom was a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member of the choir. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Morris; grandson, Michael Coon; brother, Marc Galloway. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Peggy Galloway; son Daniel Galloway (Dee ); daughter, Becky Coon (Lee); four grandchildren, Dalton Galloway, Harly Galloway, Stacy Carroll (Joe), Ashley Morris; one great-grandchild, Aaron Conner; three sisters, Linda Converse (Larry), Mary Piwowarczyk (Wally), Lynda Hohendoken (Bill). Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Cranford Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Jonathan Witcher officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
