Claudetta "Pat" Loretta Watson, 80, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. Claudetta was born on Jan. 26, 1937 at Clifty, Ark., a daughter of Alley Euel "Jim" Brannon and Cloretta "Chole" (Malone) Brannon. She was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle in Bethel Heights, she enjoyed singing and playing banjo and working in her garden. She is survived by her six children, Marolyn Evans and husband Cheyenne of Hindsville, Ark., Richard Leon Watson of Springdale, Ark., Debby Marsh and husband Don of Huntsville, Ark., Gary Dean Watson of Springdale, Ark., James Allen Watson and wife Connie of Springdale, Ark., and Karen Watson of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sisters, Rosie Shipp of Concord, Okla., and Wilma Harris and husband Bob of Huntsville, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmy Watson; two brothers, Clyde Brannon and Cleston Brannon; and two sisters, Gladys Obenshain and Mary Elizabeth Brannon. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark., for their loving care and support to their family during this difficult time. Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 with Pastor Bobby Main and Bro.
