Marie Plymale

Marie Plymale, 86, of Springdale, passed away on October 1, 2017 in Springdale. She was born on October 9, 1930 in Corinth, Mississippi to Claude and Dorothy (Derrick) James. Later she would marry James Plymale on March 22, 1947. Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Dorothy James; her husband, James Plymale; and two sons, James Lee Plymale and Terry Plymale. Left to cherish Marie's memory are her daughter, Deborah Cox and husband Jimmy of Springdale; a son, Larry Plymale of Fort Smith; a brother, Troy Lee James of Corinth, MS, a sister, Lil Norton of Bakersfield, Calif.; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Marie loved working as a cashier at Walmart for many years. She loved seeing her customers. Marie also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by those who knew her. Visitation services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, at Westfield Chapel funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at Westfield Chapel funeral home.
