Roberta "Bobbie" Christine Wood

Roberta "Bobbie" Christine Wood was born October 21, 1942 in West Brookfield, Massachusetts to Willis H Wagner and Mary Elizabeth (Perry) Wagner and she passed away September 21, 2017. Bobbie married, much loved Bill R. Wood in December 1974. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill Wood. She attended Seaman High School in Topeka, Kan. and graduated from Kansas State University at Manhattan, Kan. majoring in math and physics. She served nearly twi years in the U.S. Army at Ft. Ord, Calif. Bobbie worked 40 years for Fidelity Information Services (FIS) at locations including Casper, Wyo., Witchita, Kan., and Little Rock, Ark., and from her home (with Betty and Larry) near Sprague, Neb. surrounded by loving relatives. Bobbie was survived by her younger sisters, Betty Hutchinson and husband Larry, Janice Staerkel and husband Fred and their adopted daughter, Cindy Staerkel and her three children, and by nieces and nephews, Todd and Heide & Dawn Staerkel, Jay Hutchinson & Marie Eppens, Perry & Roy Werner, and September Stone, grandnieces and grandnephews, and one year old great-grandniece, (Luna) living in Nebraska, Kansas, Oregon, Washington and in New Zealand.
