Augustus A.J. Skinner

Augustus "AJ" Skinner, 85 of Lonsdale, passed away October 2, 2017. He was born February 24, 1932 in Oppelo, Arkansas to the late A.C. and Edna Viola Holt Skinner. AJ worked in Insurance and car sales. AJ was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lorene Pole. He is survived by his sons, Curtis (Dale) Skinner of Benton, Billy (Vicki) Skinner of Lonsdale and Charles (Gloria) Skinner of Lonsdale, brothers, Roy, Leo and Robert Skinner, sisters, Shirley Keilty and Agnes Knuckles, eight grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and also a special friend Elizabeth Ann Taylor. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7th at Ashby Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Minister will be Bro. Don McCutcheon. On line guestbook at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
