Sister Margaret Ann Williams was born on July 25, 1948 to the late Artheria and Ivy Williams. She departed this life on Monday, October 2, 2017. Margaret Ann's or "Mama Ann" as she was affectionately known, Home-Going Celebration is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 7th  at Greater Friendship Christian Church - 4640 Springer Blvd, Little Rock, AR 72206. Family hour will be Friday, October 6th from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. also at Greater Friendship Church by Paradise Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Margaret Ann Williams confessed her faith in Christ as her Savior early in life, was baptized, and accepted into the congregation of the family of God that worships at Steele's Memorial Baptist Church, now known as Greater Friendship Christian Church. She served as a faithful choir member during her early years.  The majority of her volunteerism in the service of God was as part of the church Culinary and Beautification Ministries.  Sis. Williams' God given creativity was most demonstrated while leading the Beautification Ministry. The love and care she freely gave to ensuring that the décor of Greater Friendship enhanced its welcoming and peaceful ambience was obvious and most appreciated. Sis. Williams leaves to morn her passing one son, Andre' Maryman (Catesha) three grandchildren, Andre' Jr.,  Madison and Gabriel; two brothers, James Williams and Artheria Williams; three sisters, Patricia Williams Ellington (Leroy), Clarice Williams Landers, and Beverly Williams Morris (Steven); and a host of other family members and friends. While Ann was blessed with the support of family and several close friends, her loved ones are especially grateful for the support of her devoted cousin Stan Williams and special friends Cynthia Johnson and Carolyn Stephens. Ann Williams' consistent encouraging and uplifting demeanor will always be remembered. Despite her physical health challenges, she always had a word of encouragement for those with whom she interacted; family, friend, stranger or foe.  Her smile despite the pain, her "This too shall pass," and her "I'm fine baby" will be reminders for those who knew her that, "….all things work together for the good….."
