Teri Lynn (Lucas) Kessler

The Lady wore Pink…for three courageous years; Teri Lynn Lucas Kessler fought the battle before passing away Oct. 6, 2017 from breast cancer. A celebration of Teri's life is remembered as she lived it--- A loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister who always put family first before self. She loved celebrating birthdays, holidays, and special occasions at the Lake or Beach surrounded by family and friends. She lived by the plaque displayed in her home: "Life takes you to unexpected places; love always brings you home" Teri, 56, of Olive Branch, Miss., was born on June 12, 1961 in Newport, Ark., the daughter of Delbert Ray and Jean (Reddell) Lucas. She is survived by her husband, Michael Philip Kessler of the home; one son, Cory Michael Kessler and wife Erica of Southaven, Miss.; one daughter; Brittany Marie Kessler and fiancée Jesse Shelton of Jackson, Tenn.; her parents, Delbert Ray and Jean Lucas of Newport, Ark., one brother, Charles David Lucas and wife Lisa of Newport, Ark.; father and mother-in-law Don and Lynn Kessler of Homer, La.; sister-in-law, Lisa Fell and husband Pat of Gonzales, La., and numerous extended family. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017 at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2017.
