Laura Leigh Alley Parton

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 3 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Laura Leigh Alley Parton, age 60, who passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette into the arms of Jesus. Mrs. Parton was a native of Little Rock, AR and a resident of Carencro. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lafayette. Mrs. Parton was loving and kind, an amazing Granny and a caregiver to her family. She enjoyed quilting. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, husband, George Parton Jr.; two sons, David Parton and Nicholas Parton all of Carencro; her mother, Winifred Alley of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Lou Alley of Little Rock, Ark.; and one grandson, Everett Parton. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Alley; and one sister, Kay Wallace. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1 p.m. Sunday until service time on Sunday.
