Othar Clayton Jackson, 99, of North Little Rock, died Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. He was born to the late John and Janie Hooten Jackson on February 15, 1918 in Quitman. He is also proceeded in death by his wife, Myrtle Knight Jackson; son, Marion Jackson; two brothers; and his sister. Othar was a World War II veteran with the Army. He served in France, Rhineland and Normandy; where he was awarded three Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. He is survived by his niece, Barbara Jackson of North Little Rock; great-niece, Bailey Couch; two great-nephews, Josh and Jeremy Couch; nephew, Lee Jackson of Santa Monica, Calif.; an angel that sat by his side, Leigh Hooten Davis; two grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Graveside Service will be 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Arrangements by Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F.
