Robert Lee McNeely

Robert "Bud" Lee McNeely, 76, of Arkadelphia, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville, Ark. A son of Alfred and Marie Elmore McNeely, he was born June 3, 1941 in Prescott, Ark. He married Betty Jane (Baker) McNeely on August 29, 1960. He was a Business Owner of Bud's Garage and Red Tiger Moving Company and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Billy Wayne McNeely and a brother, Billy Ray McNeely. Bud is survived by his wife, Betty Jane McNeely of Arkadelphia; two sons, Clifton Lee McNeely of Russellville; Steven Ray McNeely (Suzi) of Jacksonville; two daughters, Cathy Lynn Franklin (Ricky) Jasper, Texas; Vicky Hood (Brian) of North Bend, Wash.; six grandchildren, Matthew McNeely (Bobbie);Craig McNeely both of Dardanelle; Austin Franklin; Mary Franklin both of Jasper, Texas; Lillian McNeely of Jacksonville; Parker Hood of North Bend, Wash.; one great grandchild, Mason Robert McNeely of Dardanelle; a brother, Arthur Neagle of Arkadelphia; a sister, Shirley Turner of North Carolina and two sisters-in-law, Trenda Heflin of Kentucky and Wanda Cornellier of Arkadelphia. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
