C. Johnice Blackwell

C. Johnice Blackwell, 86, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born on January 25, 1931 in Dierks, Arkansas the daughter of the late John W. and Mattie Crisp Littlefield. Mrs. Blackwell was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Blackwell on November 2, 1977, and a sister, Virginia Littlefield Taylor. Survivors include two sons, Jim Blackwell and wife Candy of Nashville, Ark.; John Blackwell and wife Kathy of Lavaca, Ark.; one daughter Mary Frankenberger and husband Steve of Fayetteville, Ark.; four grandchildren Marc Blackwell, Dr. Jeff Blackwell, Jason Frankenberger, and Amanda Geng, eight great-grandchildren, and a number of friends. Visitation will be 1 p.m., until service time on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Latimer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. David Blase' and Bro. Kevin Sartin officiating, burial to follow in Dierks Cemetery.
