Lena "Grace" Holman

Lena "Grace" Holman, 86, of Cabot, Ark., peacefully went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family on Oct. 20, 2017. Born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area, she met the love of her life, Wayne and started a family she loved dearly. She later moved to Arkansas to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her parents and husband Barnes Duane (Wayne) Holman of Cabot, Ark. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Clifford) Hicks of Cabot; Granddaughters Amy (James) Lang of North Little Rock, Jennifer (Daniel) Menden of Sherwood; Grandson Ryan (Haley) Hicks of Cabot; five great-grandchildren, Hannah and Hayden Lang, Briley and Lilly Menden and Jayda Hicks who she enjoyed sharing First Baptist cookies with during their visits. Grace will be laid to rest with her husband at the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave. in Sherwood at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017 from 5–7 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Ark. The family would like to thank Wanda, Haley, Kimberly and Madison at Greystone Nursing and Mary, Connie and Kathy of Kindred Hospice Care for their support of Grace and the family during this trying time.
