Max Edward Clark

MAX E. CLARK, 86, of Sherwood, passed away peacefully in his home on Oct. 21, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn S. Clark; parents, Edna and Kenneth Clark; and sister, Rita Swaffar. He is survived by his companion, Dorthe Erickson; sister Delores Clark; and children Somer (Clifton) Day, Shannon Crow, Angela (Allen) Harrod, Ronald (Martha) Clark, and Kenneth (Shawn) Clark; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. After 42 years, he retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Co. as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. He loved to travel, fish, and golf. His family was his pride and joy. Max was a past president of the Lions Club, Rotary Club, and Morrilton School Board. He was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of NLR where he served on multiple boards and as business administrator. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 23, 2017 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., NLR. A Memorial Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017 at First United Methodist Church of NLR, 6701 JFK Boulevard, NLR.
