Geneva Helen Lampkin

Geneva Helen Patterson Lampkin of Redfield, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the age of 90 years. She was born at Redfield on July 5, 1927 to the late Henry Lawrence Patterson and Beatrice Pitts Patterson. Mrs. Lampkin was a member of River Road Church of God and loved playing the guitar. She was also predeceased by a grandson, Tony Lampkin; and three younger siblings, Sandra K. Patterson, Horace Patterson, and Curtis Patterson. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Willis Lampkin; four children, Kenny Lampkin, David Lampkin (Janet), Jackie Broach (Rickey), and Jerry Lampkin (Pauline); a sister, Linnie Standridge; seven grandchildren, John Lampkin, Crystal Howell, Matthew Lampkin, Shane Lampkin, Chris Lampkin, Jackie Lampkin, and Heather Lampkin; a number of great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; along with many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 25, 2017, 2 p.m. at Redfield Cemetery with Reverend Rickey Broach officiating.
