Justin Levon Ashley of Little Rock, Ark., graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2004 and went on to further his education at Pulaski Tech receiving an Associate's Degree in Arts. He completed flight training with Central Flying Service in May 2012 obtaining his Fixed Wing License. Justin joined the Army National Guard as a PFC in 2012, as a UH60 Helicopter Repairer, where he conducted training in Ft. Eustis, Virginia. In 2014, he attended initial Rotary Wing Training at Ft. Rucker, Ala. and became a UH60 Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot. He returned to North Little Rock, Ark. where he was an Aviator for B6 2-285 Aviation Regiment (Assault). He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Crystal; two children, Syandene and Dallen; parents, Preston and Nina Ashley, LR; three sisters, Leronda (Frank) Paige, LR, Angela (Christopher) Moten, Houston, Texas, and Karin (Gerald), Sherwood, Ark.; a sister-in-law, Ann, Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Preston Jr., Jacksonville, Fla. and Christopher, NLR, Ark.; three aunts, Sharon McGary, Wanda Dorsey and Shelia Grind; one great-aunt, Geneva Williams; 10 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 27, 2017, 11 a.m., at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, 8507 Hwy. 161, North Little Rock, Ark.
