Our shooting star, Clinon Ray Williamson, 83, of Pine Bluff, went on to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at UAMS, Little Rock. He was born September 21, 1934 in Itawamba County, Mississippi, son of Curtis and Sibyl Frost Williamson. He was reared and received his early education in Dumas and Altheimer. Mr. Williamson went on to attend college at University of Monticello and Fayetteville for three and a half years, where he majored in Agriculture. He served his country in the Arkansas National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1961. Mr. Williamson was a Christian man who loved spending his time on the White River fishing and hunting in his spare time. He was very happy living in the Island Harbor Community. He was an active member of the Island Harbor Fire Department sense it's inception in 1991, President of the Home Owners Association 2001-2011, and served on the Board of Directors for Home Owners Association for the past 20 years. Mr. Williamson worked as an Engineer at Cotton Belt Railroad, Southern Pacific and retired from Union Pacific Railroad. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John and Donald Williamson; and sister, "Tillie" Williamson Newell. Survivors include sisters, Wavelene and Van "Louetta" Williamson; daughters, Monique and Nicole Williamson; son, Curtis Williamson; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Williamson will be in state Sunday afternoon, 2-4 p.m. at Robinson's. Services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, October 30, 2017 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Gary Bell officiating. Graveside service will be Tuesday, October 31, 2017, 1 p.m., at Mt.
