Thomas Washington "Tom" Schlessman

Thomas Washington "Tom" Schlessman 84, of Bentonville passed away October 25, 2017 in Bentonville. He was born February 10, 1933 in Anderson, Missouri the son of Leon and Viola Thrutchley Schlessman. Tom was a retired foreman after 30 years with Emerson Electric. He was a Corporal in the United States Army and a member of the Bentonville Church of Christ. Tom is preceded in death by four brothers Willie, Lester, Jack and Emmitt Schlessman and one sister, Annabell Warren. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Cooper Schlessman of the home; two sons, Randy Henry and wife Patricia of Pineville, Missouri and Thomas Wayne Schlessman of Bentonville; one daughter, Tana Schlessman of Bentonville; two brothers, Junior Schlessman and wife Neoma of Anderson, Missouri and John Schlessman and wife Freda of Beaver, Oklahoma; two sisters, Kay Lewis of Moran, Kansas and Mary Lou Lewis and husband Rick of Pineville, Missouri; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday; October 28, 2017 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers. Interment will follow in the Bentonville Cemetery.
