Fanelle Newkirk McGee

Fanelle Newkirk McGee, 79, widow of Clotus McGee Jr., passed away Wednesday. Fanelle worked at Bogard Grain and Seed Co. and Producers Rice Mill where she gained many friends and co-workers. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as organist until her health prevented her from attending. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Clotus McGee III (Chip). Survivors are daughter, Fran (Homer) Campbell; son, Curtis McGee; grandchildren, April (Dennis) Herring and Clotus McGee IV; great-granddaughter, Tessa Herring; sister, Linda Edwards; and brother, John (Debbie) Newkirk. Funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Ulm. Visitation will be at one hour prior to her service. www.turpin-co.com.
