Robert "Steve" Bertschy

Former Bentonville Mayor, Robert "Steve" Bertschy, 66, of Bella Vista passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017. He was born January 2, 1951, in Bentonville to Louis Ivan and Mary Lou Boren Bertschy. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cassandra "Sandy" Bertschy; two children, Stephanie Disheroon and husband Matt of Bella Vista; Robert R. Bertschy and wife Brook of Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren, Regan and Allison Disheroon, of Bella Vista, and twins, Robert Owen and Emma Royce Bertschy, of Charleston, three brothers, David and wife, Jill, Tony and wife, Terri, Tim, and one sister, Kathy Samples; as well as a large extended family. A celebration of his life service will be time, day, date at First Baptist, Bentonville, with the Rev. Robert Cupp officiating.
