Lesley Howard Eason Sr., 66, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2017, in Fayetteville, Ark., after a lengthy illness. He was born on April 18, 1951, in Abilene, Texas, to William Henry "Bill" and Marguriete Eason, who both preceded him in death. Les was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and attended Abilene Christian Schools from first grade through college. He met Jane Anne (Winborn), his wife of 48 years, at Abilene Christian, where he earned a degree in Wildlife Management. When he was not working in oilfield sales, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, coaching baseball, refereeing basketball, playing guitar, and leading singing at church. Les is survived by his wife; a brother, John Eason of Abilene, Texas; three children, Les Eason, Jr., Dee Anne Arnold, both of Fayetteville, Ark., and J'Nan McManaman of Allen, Texas; their spouses; seven grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Steve Winborn; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. The family has chosen not to have a public service. Instead, they all celebrated life together with Les in Ruidoso, N.M., in July. Cremation arrangements by Beard's Funeral Chapel, Fayetteville, Ark.
