John Scott Meadows Jr.

John Scott Meadows Jr., 32, of El Dorado went to his Heavenly home, Tuesday, September 5, 2017. He was born October 19, 1984, to John Scott Meadows Sr. and Heidi Giller Meadows in Little Rock, Ark. He was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. He loved God, family, and friends. He enjoyed the game of golf, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and the Dallas Cowboys. We wish to extend a big thank you to all of the people who helped John Scott in countless ways over the years. Preceding him in death are his mother, Heidi Giller Meadows; his grandmother, Nona Jean Dalton; and his grandfather, Dr. Walter John Giller Jr. Survivors include his father, John Scott Meadows Sr.; his sister, Julia McRae Meadows; his grandmother, Lucie Belle Giller; his grandfather, John Meadows; his grandmother, Elaine Meadows; aunts, Amy Giller Heyman (Steve) & Mary Ann Moore (Wayne); uncles, Mike Meadows (Cathy) & Rusty Meadows (Nancy); cousins, Walter John Giller IV, Blake Giller, Daniel Heyman, Rachel Heyman, Jett Moore, Jackson Moore & Davis Moore; and numerous other family members. Funeral Service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church with Father Charles Chapman officiating. Please feel free to wear your favorite Razorback attire in honor of John Scott's love for the Hogs. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
