Charles Gavan Duffy III, 74, of Rogers passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017. He was born June 3, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Charles Gavan Duffy Jr. and Lucille Shannon Duffy. He proudly served his country in the US Naval Reserves before marrying Colleen Moran Duffy, the love of his life for 40 years who also proceded him in death. Charles had a successful career in poultry sales before ‘retiring' to part-time sales with Lowe's in Rogers. He had a love of golf he shared with his sons, along with camping, boating and fishing. He was a lifelong Catholic and longtime member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Rogers. Survivors include his sons, Charles "Gavan" Duffy IV (Jody) and Sean Duffy (Lisa), all of Rogers; three granddaughters, Ryan Schmuck (Ben) of Bentonville, Anna and Maggie Duffy of Rogers; two sisters, Pat Schranz (Skip) and Shannon Kammerer (Tim); one nephew, Anthony Kammerer; numerous extended family; business associates and dear friends. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, September 10 in the chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 11, 12 noon at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 1416 West Poplar Street in Rogers with interment to follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
