Samuel Malton Slaughter

Samuel Malton Slaughter, 78, of Guy went to be with the Lord on Sept. 8, 2017. He was born on June 4, 1939 in Marvell, Ark., to Lester Slaughter and Pauline Brown Slaughter. Sam was a member of Crosspoint Baptist Church in Greenbrier. Proceeding him in death are his parents Lester and Pauline, his wife Donna Slaughter, his brother Phil Slaughter and his granddaughter Stephanie Slaughter. Sam is survived by his three sons, Todd Slaughter (Lynette) of Greenbrier, Ark., Scott Slaughter (Connie) of Springfield, Mo., and Brian Slaughter (Donna K) of Abilene, Texas and seven grandchildren, Dustin, Courtney, Brandon, Laura, Michelle, Jonathon, and Katelyn. Visitation for Sam will be on September 10, 2017 from 2-4 p.m., at Crosspoint Baptist Church. Services will be held on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 at 11 a.m., at Crosspoint Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Bagby officiating. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Crosspoint Baptist Church.
