Mary Ann Vaughn

Mary Ann Vaughn, of Jacksonville passed away on September 13, 2017. She was born July 18, 1933 in Ward, Arkansas to the late James and Carrie Venable. She was preceded in death by her son Raymond "Butch" Ward and her daughter Cindy Stanley. Mary worked for the Arkansas Revenue Department and retired in October 1994. She loved to cruise, attend gospel concerts, fish and play the slot machines. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Frank) Balmes of Jacksonville, her daughter, Debbie (Greg) Martin of Lonoke, her son, James (Tammy) Ward of Jacksonville, her daughter, Sharon (Richard) Gentry, son, Tom (Candie) Pearson of Jacksonville, 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, her brother James "Buck" Venable of Sherwood, sister, Stevie "Pete" McClure of Jacksonville, sister, Lilie Mae "Sissy" Erwin of Jacksonville, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Old Austin Cemetery.
