Irma Lea Allred Sisco, 91, of North Little Rock, passed away Sept. 14, 2017, at Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab, surrounded by those she loved. She was born in Delmar, Ark., on March 24, 1926. Irma was preceded in death by her childhood sweetheart of 68 years Gene Sisco; her parents, Clyde and Lillian Allred; her siblings, Billy Rex Allred, Helen Tackitt and Harold Allred; and her son-in-laws, Steve Thompson and John Stanton. She is survived by her daughters, Helen Stanton and Furman Graham of Conway and Jeannie Thompson Benight and Joe Benight of Sheridan; grandchildren, Mandy Stanton, John Eric Stanton and wife Erin, Dustin Thompson and Jessica Thompson; great-grandchildren Briley Thompson, Lillian Thompson, John Brayden Stanton and Keelan Stanton and brother-in-law, Lowell Tackitt. She was a faithful servant to God and to her beloved church. She was a giving and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Nothing brought her more joy than her family and her love for them was immeasurable. Those around her will always remember her courage in facing Alzheimers with grace and dignity. The family would like to thank Sheridan Healthcare and Rehab Center and Arkansas Hospice, who both extended compassion, understanding and love toward our entire family. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at the Levy United Methodist Church (701 W. 47th St, NLR), with funeral services starting at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
