Minnie "Mere" Gregg Forbis

Forbis, Minnie "Mere" Gregg Forbis, age 92 of Snellville, Ga., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. EST Monday, Sept. 18, 2017 in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be 2 p.m. CST Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 at Delaware Cemetery, Nixa, Mo. A native of Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Forbis is a daughter of the late Rev. James Earl & Mae Ruth Walls Gregg. She is preceded by her husband Andrew Joseph Forbis whom she worked side by side in the funeral business in Arkansas for many years before retiring. After moving to Georgia, Minnie became very involved at Sunrise Baptist Church, where she enjoyed being a member of the Joy Choir and attending many functions and outings with her friends. Surviving are her daughter Joyce Francella & her husband Robbie Moir of Snellville, Ga.; son & daughter-in-law: Max & Annie Yarbrough of Grayson, Ga.; daughter & son-in-law: Marilyn & the late Jim Loyd of Sheridan, Ark.; brother & sister-in-law: Paul & Barbara Gregg of Scott, Ark.; sister: Claudia King of Snellville, Ga., sister-in-law: Mae Gregg, Jacksonville, Ark.; grandchildren: Jamie Loyd of Alexander, Ark., Joe & Bobbie Loyd of Sheridan, Ark., Scott & Jill Loyd of Sheridan, Ark., Rocky & Brenda Loyd of Prattsville, Ark., Andy Yarbrough of Grayson, Ga.; great-grandchildren: Alana & Jake Lankford, Cody & Jamie Loyd, Alex McElroy, Ryan Loyd, Brianna & Joey Reynolds, Noah Loyd, Seth Loyd; great great grandchildren: Izabella, Ava, Eli, & Zeke Lankford, & Asher Loyd all of Ark.
