Virginia May Risner Traffanstedt

Virginia May Risner Traffanstedt, 78, of Greenbrier, went to be with the Lord Friday Septe. 15, 2017. She was born June 9, 1939 in Thayer, Mo., to the late Claude and Mildred Risner. Virginia worked at Faulkner County Day School for many years and loved it. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Virginia was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her sons, David Kelly Traffanstedt (Donna), Kevin Gene Traffanstedt, and Bill Traffanstedt (Penny), Daughters, Christina Louise Geater (Tracy), and Patty Scherer (Allan), nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren, brothers, James Lewis Risner and William Claude Risner, sister-in-law, Ellen Ruth Wahrmund, and numerous nieces and nephews. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, son, Raymond Keith Traffanstedt, and grandson, David Heath Traffanstedt. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 18, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Greenbrier church of Christ. Funeral Service will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 19, 2017 at the Church.
