Max Elmer Ives, born July 31, 1930; died September 17, 2017 age 87, Western Auto Salesman (Stockton Kan.), Mobil Gas Station Manager (Stockton, Kan.); While living in Salina he was employed by Custom Metals as Shop Foreman, Great Plains Manufacturing Shop Foreman, Brown Welding Warehouse Manager and a Fire Extinguisher Warehouse Manager and Sales. Married LeVonne Lee Pauley August 12, 1951 He was active in the Salina Heights Christian Church, various Square Dance clubs for many years. After retiring to Bella Vista, Ark., Max was an active golfer, member of the Bella Vista Men's Chorus and the Highland Christian Church. Upon moving to Clearwater, Kan., he attended the 1st Baptist Church of Clearwater. Max and LeVonne traveled extensively throughout their married lives. Preceded in death by His wife LeVonne Pauley Ives, parents, Harold and Hilma (Fisher) Ives, brothers, AJ and Dean and a sister, Joyce Keeton. Survived by sisters: Elaine Yoxall, Ruth Fenton, Dixie Rose, Norma Moore. Children: Richard and Janet Ives (Clearwater, Kan.), Randall and Denise Ives (Omaha, Neb.), Ronald and Kathryn Ives (Martindale, Texas); four grandchildren; Tyler and Amy Ives (Garden Plain, Kan.), Amber Ives (Clearwater, Kan.), Alex and Gabriella Siefert (Batesville, Ind.), Grant and Sabra Ives (Forth Worth, Texas) and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at the Stockton, Kan., Cemetery on November 11th at 1 p.m. Memorials should be sent to the Highland Christian Church Building Fund, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd. Bella Vista, Ark. 72715.
