Robert C. "Bob" Mack, 87, of Little Rock, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 18, 2017. He was born April 11, 1930, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Henry C. and Cleo Orey Mack. Raised in Des Arc, Arkansas, he left there upon graduation to join the Navy. He served his country during the Korean War as an aircraft mechanic. He was also a member of the Air Force Reserves. Bob was skilled in many areas and could do almost anything he set his mind to. He retired from Teletype Corporation in Little Rock as an electronic technician. He continued to work after retirement, always looking for someone to help and somewhere to serve. Bob worked with and was on the board of Compassionate Ministries for several years, helping those in need. He loved children and believed every child should have a bicycle. He began restoring bicycles in his home shop. He donated bicycles by the hundreds, many through Casey Ministries, as long as he physically could. Being a Christian was the most important thing in his life. He was of the Baptist faith and served the Lord and his church in many capacities throughout his lifetime. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Gene, Kenneth, and William Mack; and his first wife and mother of his children, Betty Sue Mack. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Emma Sue Mack; daughter, Carol Mack Peel; son, Kenneth Mack (Denise), all of Little Rock; a stepdaughter, Vicky McEnhill (Don) of Healdsburg, California; stepson, Charles "Chuck" Case of Santee, California ; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Bob was the patriarch of the Mack family. He leaves a wonderful legacy and was a living example of what it looks like to serve others and share the love of Christ.
