Archie Merle Chambers

Archie Merle Chambers, 77, of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017. He was born in Glendale, Arkansas on May 22, 1940 to the late Clarence and Pearl Chambers. Archie was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville. He enjoyed fellowshipping with his friends, playing bingo, dominos and participating in many other weekly activities at the Jacksonville Senior Center. He worked for Levi Strauss for more than 20 years. He is survived by his sister, Dorthy DeJesus (Mark) of Jacksonville, one niece, Theresa Robinson (Tim); one nephew, Mike Weeks (Lisa); two great-nephews, Garrett Dean and Tyler Peters; two great-nieces, Ashton Johnson and Anna Grace Weeks.
