Viola Emma Wagner Winchell Aandahl, 100, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away peacefully, March 25th 2018. She was born on a farm in Ingalls, Okla., to Walter B. and Myrtle M. Wagner. Viola was educated in Stillwater, Okla., and graduated from Oklahoma A&M in 1940 with a Bachelors' degree in Home Economics and English. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert M. Winchell and Andrew R. Aandahl, and siblings Fulton Wagner, Dorothy Jackson and Peggy Dilbeck. Survivors include a sister, Louella McAnelly (99), of Lake Kiowa, Texas, her daughter, Fay Winchell of Bella Vista and son, Byron Winchell of Frankfort, Ohio; and two adult grandchildren, Amanda and Adam. In addition, she has accumulated a wealth of Wagner, Winchells and Aandahls around the world. Viola worked in photography for NACA during World War II. She was a homemaker and mother to her children. She returned to Stillwater, Okla., and worked for Oklahoma State University until her retirement. She retired to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1978. She was active in Garden Club, traveled some, played a lot of bridge, and made many friends. In 1998, she met and married her second husband, Andrew (Andy) Aandahl, late in life in Bella Vista, Ark. They played more bridge and traveled often. They continued living in Bella Vista until his death. No services are planned. Please no flowers.
