Wilma Jean (Collins) Brandon Mohorn passed away March 27, 2018, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark., after a brief battle with cancer. Jean was born June 29, 1942, in Cedar Grove, Tenn., to William Paul Collins and Gladys Lenora (Hunley) Collins. She graduated from Trezvant High School, Freed-Hardeman College and Tennessee Tech. The child of a farmer, Jean helped plant and pick a variety of garden vegetables and crops. She often shared with her children the joys of picking cotton by hand while dragging a 50 pound burlap sack when her children would complain about working too hard. She married the late Donald Marlin Brandon on June 6, 1964 and also married Joe Mohorn on January 18, 2014. Earlier in her life, Jean was a junior high math teacher and in her 40's she earned her Real Estate license and sold real estate in Calif., Tenn., and Ark. Jean was a member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ, a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother (Grammy Jean), friend and servant of our Lord. She loved to read, travel, serve in the church, and spend time with her family. She was a little firecracker of a lady and will be missed by many. She is survived by her husband, Joe Mohorn of Springdale, Ark., and all of Joe's immediate and extended family, a daughter, Jennifer (Brandon) White and husband Scott of Magnolia, Ark., son David Brandon and Juliette (Dempsey) of Norman, Okla., brother, William (Bill) Collins and Robin (Baber) of Bentonville, Ark., granddaughters Alyson White and Colbie Brandon, grandson, Clay Brandon and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday April, 7, 2018 at Robinson Ave Church of Christ, with Harry Fitzgerald officiating. Graveside services and internment will be held at a later date at Sellers Cemetery, Huntingdon, Tenn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Circle of Life at 901 Jones Rd, Springdale, Ark., 72762. Please visit Jean's memorial page at www.WestfieldChapel.com.
