Ann Strother, age 78, died at her home in Searcy, Ark., on July 16, 2017. Born to parents Arthur Pryor and Faye Owens Strother on October 31, 1938, Ann lived in Searcy for most of her life. She worked many of those years in the family business, Strother Abstract Company, now the Strother-Wilbourn Land Title Company. Anita Lowry, of Russell, Ann's caretaker and good friend, along with other close friends and business associated, gave Ann the needed help to remain in her home the last 13 years of her life. Ann was a member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Searcy, and Pastor Philip Girardin will officiate a graveside service for all who wish to attend on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Searcy. Ann is survived by one aunt, Jean Owens of Beebe; cousins, Debbie Owens Walker and Reed Walker of New Braunfels, Texas, Judy Owens Belew, Kristen Belew Hall, Matthew Belew, Isabella Hall, and Fisher Hall, all of Little Rock, Ark.
