She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Dale Dixon Sr., grand-daughter Teresa Dixon, and great grand-daughter Briana Dixon. She was a loving mother to her four children; Kim Dixon (Mary), Stacy (Ruben) Martinez, Patricia Middleton (Kevin), and Dale Dixon, Jr. She was also close to her surviving grandchildren; Chad Bolding, Kevin Middleton II, Clint Middleton (Brandy), Rebecca Powell (Eric) and Matthew Martinez (Sydney). In 2016, God blessed her with a precious gift, a granddaughter, Donna Sue Dixon Bunch (Billy). She was also blessed with precious great-grandchildren Dalton Middleton, Cameron and Colton Powell, who brought her so much joy and happiness. She was a devoted mother and wife. She never met a stranger, and always helped and cared for people. She made many friends in her 30 years of dedicated service to Welch Motor Company in Pine Bluff. She was very active and loved being outdoors working in the yard, or giving special attention to the plants and flowers that she loved to grow. Her favorite time was visiting her sister Shirley and her husband Gilbert in California once a year and travelling with them in their motorhome. She travelled the world with them and enjoyed all the sights as well as spending time with them. During her stay at the Highlands of North Little Rock, she competed and won first place in the Senior Olympics dancing and horseshoe contest. She was known as Highlands little dancing queen. The family wishes to give a special thank you to all the C-Unit nurses, and other staff of Highlands who loved and cared for our precious mother. The whole building knew and loved her. There are too many names to mention of those who touched our mother's life, but you know who you are and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Another thank you to Kindred Hospice for taking such excellent care of Mom. There will be a private family service in Altus, Arkansas at a later date. Donations can be made in Betty's name to Kindred Hospice or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
