Hallelujah! DARCY LYN DINNING was transfixed by the face of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 2, 2018. She was born to W. G. "Bill" and Vera Margaret Dinning, Jr. in Memphis, Tenn., and grew up in Helena, Ark. After attending Central High School in Helena, she graduated from Hendrix College in 1971 with a degree in social work. Her entire career with the State of Arkansas, some 30+ years, was spent helping the children of the State: first in the Department of Human Services, and then translating both of them to the Technology Group. Ms. Dinning's main objective in life was to glorify God. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church and a longtime leader in the international Bible Study Fellowship. She volunteered as much as time would allow to various literacy programs, and taught Bible Study classes to any and all comers. She was "Blessed Assurance" to everyone she met. Darcy was predeceased by her parents and little brother, Jefferson Tanner Dinning, and leaves the following to grieve for her loss, yet rejoice in her Eternal Life: twin brother, W. Groves Dinning, III, Stratham, N.H.; sister, S. Sharum Dinning, Little Rock, Ark.; niece, Arleigh Cara Dinning, Concord, N.H., sister-in-law, Katie E. Dinning, S. Chelmsford, Mass.; and kissin' cousins, Stuart and Helen Ruth Towns, Forrest City, Ark. She also leaves close friends: Carol Roper, Little Rock, Ark., Maria Cherian, Greers Ferry, Ark., and Barbara Blessing, Greers Ferry, Ark. The family acknowledges with gratitude the knowledgeable and deliberative attendance of Dr. Shirley Ong at UAMS, and the loving care of Maria and Barbara during her illness. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bible Study Fellowship, San Antonio, Texas, and to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., where she was a pioneer patient in 1966. Visitation will be at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home on Monday, April 9, 2018, from 5-7 p.m., and services will be held at Fellowship Bible Church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark. "For to me to live IS Christ, and to die IS gain."  Philippians 1:21
