Ladotta Mae Barlow

Ladotta Mae Barlow, 80, of Rose Bud, died Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born November 28, 1937 in Memphis, Tenn., the daughter of Rufus and Laodice Stevens. Ladotta "Dot" is survived by one son, Ricky Barlow and wife Peggy; three grandchildren, Shauna Barlow Pate and husband Murry, Isaiah Barlow, and Rygel and wife Cassie Fortner; three great-grandchildren, Mallory Pate, Zayla and Ellece Fortner; two brothers, Jerrell and wife Joyce Stevens, Leon and wife Tina Stevens; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Max Barlow, and her parents. "Dot" was a 33-year employee (bookkeeper, treasurer, and secretary) of the Rose Bud Public Schools, and a member of the Mount Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mount Bethel Free Will Baptist Church or to the Alzheimer's Association. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
