CHARLES ROY EDWARDS, 90, of North Little Rock, went to his Heavenly reward on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. He was born December 11, 1927 in Scott, Ark., to Iness and Roy Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Hazel Rhodes, Lucille Parks and Barbara Jo Wells; son, Charles Wayne Edwards; grandson, Wayne Ewell Eston Edwards "WEEE"; and his wife of 65 years, Ina Louise Lovell Edwards. He is survived by his current wife, Barbara Ann; daughter, Ann Williams (Sidney); sons, Phillip (Rita) and Wm. Roy II (Rhonda) Edwards all of North Little Rock; daughter, Gina Fulmer (Terry) of Scott. He was a proud Pepaw to grandchildren, Anna, Clay, Eddy, Brad, Natasha, Brittany, James, Matthew and Justin; and great-grandchildren, Josy, Erich, Natalie, Aubrey, Aria, Axel, Miranda, Christopher, Grayson Charles, soon to arrive Asher, and countless other family and friends. During his life he was a farmer, gunsmith, longtime Federal employee and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Levy, Arkansas. Charles was an avid outdoorsman, he loved his time with family and friends at WD Oliver Hunting Club. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Hospice Home Care and Dr. Scott Harrington at Springhill Baptist for their compassion and understanding during this time. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial at McPherson Cemetery.
