Willard Brent "Bud" Taylor

Willard "Bud" Taylor, 84, of the Lord School House Community near Morrilton, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018. He was born October 23, 1933, in Little Rock, Ark., a son of W.B. Taylor Sr. and Clyde "Reynolds" Taylor of Morrilton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty "Cody" Taylor. Bud graduated from Morrilton High School in 1951, and attended Arkansas State Teachers College. He worked in the dry cleaning business with his parents, and retired as Vice President of Superior Federal Bank. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Morrilton where he served as a deacon and as treasurer. He served on the finance committee and as an usher. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday April 14, 2018, at Calvary Baptist Church in Morrilton, with Brother Sonny Harvison officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation: one hour prior to the service at the church. Service arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
