Bobby Jo Carmichael

Bobby Jo Carmichael, 88, of Conway, Ark., passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. She was born on July 5, 1929 in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Robert and Georgia (Sims) Cook. Bobby Jo was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Wendell H. Carmichael, sister, Dorothy Cantrell, and brother, Ralph Cook. Bobby Jo was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Conway. She was a devoted wife and mother. Bobby Jo enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her two sons, Joe Carmichael and Doug (Kim) Carmichael; grandson, Hayden Carmichael, and a host of family and friends. The family would like to express special thanks to her friend and caregiver Melissa Hight. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Monday, April 16, at Roller-McNutt with interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.
