Nola Rachel (Lee) Lauber

Nola Rachel (Lee) Lauber, born to Orville E. and Isabelle (Mechtel) Lee on February 23,1939, died April 12, 2018. She graduated from Our Lady of Victory Academy in Waterloo, Iowa, and attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, before moving to Chicago, Ill., where she worked and pursued further education at DePaul University and Mundelein night classes. She met and married Emile J. Lauber, Jr. in 1967. They lived in Chicago proper and moved to the suburb of Glenview in 1976. Nola was CFO of J.H. Robinson and Associates in Northfield, Ill., from 1983 until they retired to Hot Springs Village, Ark., in 1998. She and Emile were very active in the Hot Springs Village Evening Lions Club. Nola was preceded in death by her parents and only sister, Merle Lee Breihan. She is survived by her husband, Emile; three step daughters Debbie (Ken) Gray of Woodland Park, Colo., Jan (Frank) Cusimano of Birmingham, Ala., Emily (Steve) Jay of Shalimar, Fla.; ten step grandchildren Lauren, Phillip, Catie, Carrie and Suzanna Gray, Kelly Allison, Chase (Katie) Cusimano, Whitney, Spencer and Bryant Jay; four step great grandchildren, Caroline Cusimano, Lewis, Helen, and Charolette Gray. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hot Springs Evening Lions Club, Lions International Foundation or World Services for the Blind in Little Rock in lieu of flowers.
