Helen R. Morris

Helen R. (Czech) Morris, 90, of Benton passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018. She was born in East Saint Louis, Ill., to the late Stanley and Helen Czech. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Kenneth W. Morris; and three brothers, Raymond, Aloysius, and Edward Czech. Helen graduated from St. Teresa Academy in East Saint Louis, Ill. She retired from the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service as a Master Gardener. Survivors include three sons, William S. Morris of Nixa, Mo., K. Robert Morris of Kernersville, N.C., and Michael E. Morris of Benton, Ark.; two daughters, Mary Kay (Gary) Moser of O'Fallon, Ill., and Patricia A. (Dale) Kress of Collinsville, Ill.; sister, Gertrude Harris of Trenton, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018, in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home, with Fr. Paul Worm officiating. A time of visitation will follow from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton, Ark., with Fr. Paul Worm officiating. Interment will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery in Benton, Ark. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Helen's honor to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 900 West Cross St., Benton, Ark. 72015.
