Karen Sue Lee, 69, of Pine Bluff, Ark., passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at UAMS. She was born December 13, 1948 in Gillett, Ark., to Dick and Florine Wallace. Karen was retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal after working there for 30 years. Karen was very health-conscious and an active woman with a ton of energy and a gorgeous smile. Karen enjoyed traveling the world and spending time with her loving husband Roy. They made many beautiful memories together. She dedicated her time to being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She considered these the most important roles she played. She adored her only son Stephen, and Wallace was the light of her life. She also loved her two dogs, Bella and Snuggles, dearly. Karen had many fun adventures with her sisters and treasured her time with them. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Florine Cook Wallace of Gillett, Ark.; her sisters Mona Rose Wallace and Kathleen Wallace Bisbee; and her brother Jack Walton. She survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Roy L. Lee; her son, Stephen L. Lee (Rachel): three grandchildren, Wallace Lee, Zach Carpenter (Kate), Ashlyn Jordan (Grant); three great-grandchildren, Lucy, Beau, and Wyatt; and also survived by her sister Dorothy Ritter of Wexlaco, Texas; her sisters Anita Trimble of Gillett, Ark., Barbara Starks (Bill Ray), and Lisa Weilacher (Jerry) of Pine Bluff, Ark.; and some very special nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly.
