Sarah Mignon Ross Wilson

Sarah Mignon Ross Wilson, 80, formerly of Little Rock, died peacefully on April 8, 2018. A former elementary school teacher, she was educated at Salem College, Winston Salem, N.C., and graduated from Little Rock University (now UALR) in 1963. She had many interests which included literacy awareness, hiking, gardening, needlepoint and quilting. She served as the president of the Arkansas Unit of the Herb Society of America and won many ribbons for her beautiful quilts. She is survived by her three children, Sloan, Jr. (Lisa) New Haven, Conn., Gregg (Lily) Austin, Texas, Callie Everett, Wash., a brother, Sam Ross, MD, (Linda), Williamston, S.C., and her former husband, R. Sloan Wilson, MD of Rye, N.H. and Little Rock. Family services are private. Donations may be made to the Arkansas Unit of the Herb Society of America, 1501 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock, Ark. 72205 or the charity of your choice.
