Dorothy Wilkins, 86, of Sheridan went to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 21, 2018. She was born March 23, 1932 in Casa, Arkansas to the late Walter Clay Bailey and Fanny Emerline Raney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband L.B. Wilkins, her son Rex Allen Wilkins, two brothers, Stinson Bailey and E.C. Bailey and one sister, Jewell Byrd. She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She owned and operated Wilkins Produce and Nursery, where she shared her love of farming and gardening with others, she was also an avid quilter and oil painter. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. One of her favorite things to do was ride her grandchildren and great-grandchildren around her yard on her golf cart. She is survived by her children, Shirley Wilson of Pine Bluff, Lisa Ann Garrison (Ralph) of Sheridan, siblings, Clifton Bailey of Benton, Jimmy Clay Bailey of Tull, Betty Harp of Greenbrier, Wilma Lee Hughes of Tennessee, Kay Freeman of Benton, grandchildren, Chip Bratcher, Heather Kramer, Anna Tucker, Clayton Garrison, Kimmy Dyson, great-grandchildren, Logan Garrison, Lily Kramer, Jude Kramer, Ezra Tucker, Landon Garrison, Bailey Tucker, Liam Garrison and Max Kramer. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Sheridan.
