Janice Lee Kerr, 83, of Liberty, Mo, formerly of Berryville, Ark., passed away Tuesday April 18, 2018 at North Kansas City Hospice Care. She was born December 26, 1934 in Jacksonville, Ark., daughter of Warren and Juanita (Atwater) Kinser. On July 11, 1952 Janice married Wallace Kerr at 47th St. Baptist Church, North Little Rock. Rev R.D. Harrington officiated. She and Wallace met in the 8th grade at Fourth St. Jr. High School, North Little Rock and remained together for 62 years before Wallace passed away in 2014. Some of her great loves in life were her family, church, antiques, yard sales and genealogy research. Janice worked as a secretary for a large company in Little Rock. After moving to Carroll County she opened an antique shop, "Ma Browns" in Green Forest, Ark. Janice is survived by her daughter Valerie Blume and husband Kris of Liberty, Mo., 2 sons, Michael Kerr of Mayflower, Ark., Danny Kerr and wife Linda of Sherwood, daughter-in-law Joyce Kerr of South Dakota, siblings, Roy and Sherri, grandchildren: Stephanie Bartley of Carlisle, Shelly Yarnell and husband Clayton of Hazen, Meagan Kerr of Stovak, Mandy Kerr of Humnoke, Stacy Crabb of Bryant, Jessica Jantz and husband Jason of Kansas City, Mo., Jacob and Kurtis Blume of Grain Valley, Mo., great-grandchildren: Savanna, Mason, Addie, Kolton, Mila, Brayden, Alexis, Dawson, BettyJo, Jemma, Jackson and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Janice is also preceded in death by one son Timothy Roger Kerr, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Celebration Of Life graveside service will be 12:00 PM, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville, Ark. Bro. Randolph Kerr will officiate with interment following.
