Leslie Dale Wright

Leslie Dale Wright, 68, of Fayetteville, Arkansas went to be with his Lord on April 21, 2018, following a lengthy illness. Dale was born to the late Leslie and Bernice Wright, on May 24, 1949, in Plainview, Texas. In 1972 he married Linda (Dolan) Wright, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by Mary (Kelley) Wright. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict, and after discharge from the military service he had a paint and body shop in Fayetteville. He is survived by two sons: Stephen Hamlin and wife Simara, of Cape Coral, Florida; and Gregory Hamlin of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two brothers: Ralph Wright and wife Linda of Lubbock, Texas, and Doug Wright and wife Pat of Lafayette, Louisiana. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dale was an active member of University Baptist Church of Fayetteville. Funeral services will be at University Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 25, at 12 noon, with Pastor John Mueller officiating. Services were under the direction of Moore's Funeral Chapel.
