Diane Ida May Leath, age 72 of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Diane was born on January 11, 1946 in Caraway, Arkansas to the late Mose and Elizabeth Merle Henson. Diane retired from the State Revenue Office after 35 years of service to the state of Arkansas and was a member Ivy Chapel Christian church. Diane leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Tommy W. Leath of Little Rock; one son, James David Gray (Kim) of Little Rock; stepdaughters, Kerri Leath Curtis and Shari Leath Echols (Chris) of Arkadelphia; grandchildren, Zach Gray (Leslie), Matt, Dalton Gray, Kristen and Brady Curtis and Lindsey and Ellie Echols; one sister, Paulette Langston (Larry) of Granite City, Illinois and a host of family, friends and loved ones. Diane had a love for the Lord and determination in her heart to show us all what a Godly woman was about; she provided care for her family and helped others when they had a need and always taught to never be ashamed of who you were. She always had a way with words of kindness and acts of generosity that brought joy and encouragement to each person she met. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she always made time to let you know how special you were – reach out and be kind to others for each person has a story and God loves them. Diane will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR (501) 224-8300. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m on Friday, April 27, 2018 in the chapel of Roller Chenal Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Clevenger officiating. Burial will follow at Ivy Chapel Cemetery.
