Arlene Howton

Arlene Howton, 68, of Magnet Cove, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. She was born on August 15, 1949 in Malvern to the late Oran Rodgers and Opal Smoke Rodgers. She was a member of the Magnet Cove Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents, all five of her brothers and one sister. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Elmer Howton of Magnet Cove, two daughters, Tammy Howton Davis of Maumelle, Ark., and Lindsay Howton (Justin) Green of Magnet Cove, three sisters, Jean Guidry of Baton Rouge, La. Joan Rybard of Malvern and Donna Gage of Malvern and three grandchildren, Sydney, Shelby and J.D. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Hot Springs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Cross Bar C Cowboy Church, 10895 Hwy. 70 East with Brother Greg Spann and Brother J.C. Patterson officiating. Memorials have been designated to Cross Bar C Cowboy Church, 10895 Hwy, 70 East, Benton, Ark. 72019. Or Damascus Missionary Baptist Church, 1141 Riggans Rd., Malvern, Ark. 72104.
