Valencia Blanche Robertson

Valencia Blanche Robertson, 90 of Lowell passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at her home. She was born June 14, 1927 in Robinson, Illinois to Harry W. and Blanche Pursell Vanheusen. Melvin her husband of 72 years was the love of her life. She loved solving word search puzzles and collecting beanie babies. She enjoyed playing bingo. She looked forward to cruising with her family every year. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Harry Jack Vanheusen, one sister, June Mousseau and one son, Melvin Robertson. Survivors include her husband, Melvin Robertson of the home; one son Michael Robertson and wife Deborah of Michigan; one daughter, Mary Ann Magill of Lowell; one daughter in law, Cynthia Robertson of Springdale; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, April 30, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
