Irene Price Rowe Staggs

IRENE PRICE ROWE STAGGS, 95, of Little Rock passed away April 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Irene was born in Mount Clair, Ark., on February 23, 1923 to Dan and Birdie Price. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Daniel Price and Delton Price. She leaves to cherish her memory: sons Keith Rowe of Hot Springs, Ark., and Garry (Glenda) Rowe of Sherwood, Ark., granddaughter Laura (Dan) Zollers of Laurel, Md., and a host of nieces and nephews who she loved very much. Irene retired in 1987 from the LRSD after primarily teaching elementary school (Oakhurst, Stephens and Bale) for thirty years. Prior to that she taught in various schools in Oklahoma and Arkansas. She graduated from Louisiana Tech and received her M.Ed. from UA Fayetteville in 1959. Visitation: Monday, April 30, 6 to 8 pm at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR., 72211.
